transform-console
v0.0.3Transform-Console
A stream-based logger implemented as a transform to peek into arbitrary parts of complex stream pipelines.
Installation
Node.js
For Node.js, use npm
:
npm install transform-console
..then require
Transform-Console:
var TransformConsole = require('transform-console');
Quick Example
var myLogger = new TransformConsole({ objectMode: true }, "test");
myTransform.write({val: "testing"});
myTransform.write("testing");
myTransform.write([1, 2, 3]);
Assuming you had myTransform
piped into another stream, that stream would receive:
test - {val:"testing"}
test - "TESTING"
test - [1, 2, 3]
test - end
